In 1981, I attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated some years later with a Bachelors in Journalism, Broadcast News. I have worked in Austin as television news producer and reporter, as well as in Tennessee and Georgia.
I married Dr. Gregg E. Kamnetz (TSO-Westlake) some years later and we now have two great kids. One is in medical school in Galveston, TX and the other is pursuing her dream of becoming a music journalist at Ole’ Miss. And no, we’re not worried about them not living in Austin currently, we know they’ll be back just as soon as their careers will allow.
Through the years, I have moved many family members to Austin, and finally decided that I ought to be paid for my services, so I became a Realtor. Well, it was a little more involved than that, but the gist of it is that I learned that what my family most wanted in a Realtor is someone they could trust to look out for their best interests.
And that is exactly what I am, Someone You Can Trust. I won’t sugar coat anything. You hire a Realtor for their expertise, not to confirm what you want to hear. If you are selling, I’ll tell you what you should do, or not do, to make your home more sale-able.
I will advertise and market your home for its quickest possible sale. My expert team of stagers will show you how to arrange furniture, pictures, counters and closets to achieve that “dream home” look that will attract buyers.
As an Accredited Buyers Representative, I am certified to find the best deal for you. If you are purchasing a home, I’ll point out the benefits and flaws of each home and let you decide. Before an offer is made, I will show you a current market analysis of the home and its resale possibilities.
My other certifications include GRI, or Graduate Realtor Institute, which means I’ve attained the highest level of education possible for Realtors and I also sit on the Professional Standards Committee for the Austin Board of Realtors. I mention these certifications and positions not to brag, but to let you know that I am dedicated to this profession and to you.
As for my “off” time, I play golf, hike, do yoga & walk my little Shitz-Pooh, Daisy. I also try to get out on Lake Travis as often as possible. So if it is summer, and you can’t reach me at my office, call me at the lake!
